Best I can do, it was on the local news here in Denver:

Someone then asked Manning if the Broncos were embarrassed by a blowout in a game they had entered as slight favorites.

"It's not embarrassing at all, I would never use that word," he said. "The word embarrassing is an insulting word, to tell you the truth."

With that, Manning was gone, with as nifty of an escape as he had made all night. He had said he had a lot to think about during the offseason, and it was time for the thinking to begin.

10+ win seasons by a 38-year old QB (or older)

Craig Morton: 10-5, 21 TDs, 0 playoff wins

Brett Favre: 13-3, 28 TDs, 1 playoff win 12-4, 33 TDs, 1 playoff win

John Elway: 10-2, 22 TDs, won SB

Vinny Testaverde: 10-6, 15 TDs, 0 playoff wins

Phil Simms: 11-5, 15 TDs, 1 playoff win

The seemed to have allowed Seattle to play defense all season long.

Perhaps this running game/grinding clock does mix well with defense especially with a good QB who you don't have to ask to throw for 5,000 yards... but can make the big 3rd down throws.

It's seriously harder to have a good defense when one has a pass happy offense, even when they're a good pass happy offense.

Your QB still has to be able to stretch the field.

To be fair, I thought the officials would offset the physical play. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad they didn't, and motherfucker, I'd love for every game to be called that way. Doesn't change the fact that this game was officiated differently than most of the other ones the cheating fucking donko bitchcunts have played in.

That being said, there lots of calls that could have been called both ways. I was really surprised they didn't nab Thomas (IIRC) for trying to tackle Sherman to avoid yet another pick.

The coaching staff needs to be fired.

Every free agent needs to be allowed to go somewhere else.

Elway needs to look at himself in the mirror and really think about what he is trying to do, and then he needs to start rebuilding a true championship team.

This team is a fraud to the core. They lack heart. And it all needs to be torn down.

I'd rather go 1-15 than suffer another Super Bowl loss like this. I'd rather be the ****ing Browns. This is not me being overly emotional after a huge loss. This is just the truth. It's better to be hopeless than to get your hopes up and have them utterly obliterated by a team failing to even show up for the biggest game they may ever play.

Manning is done. Fox and the rest of the coaching staff didn't prepare our players in the slightest, and our players simply didn't show up. Let's be clear, this Seahawk team is not that good. Not even close. This isn't like the '89 49ers. There is no excuse to be blown out by that team. None.

This is the worst loss in Bronco history. Period. And if we roll with the same key people in key positions next year that means we are okay with what just happened. That means this organization is okay with being the whipping boy of the ****ing Seahawks of all teams. And that means nothing will get better, nothing will change.

Tear it all down!

To be fair, I thought the officials would offset the physical play. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad they didn't, and mother****er, I'd love for every game to be called that way. Doesn't change the fact that this game was officiated differently than most of the other ones the cheating ****ing donko bitch****s have played in.

I agree. The game was called the pre '2005 way. Another team was actually allowed to play their game against Denver and the Donx got fisted.

Denver is just soft. The AFC is soft. All the hard hitting tough teams are in the NFC. How is it the media didn't see this coming like a lot of us did is beyond me. Maybe they should have stopped and looked at who each team played.

That's very true. I had predicted that the Hawks would be too physical for the soft Broncos offense, but never imagined they'd struggle to score just one TD.

Now I'm wondering who else would have beaten the Broncos. 49ers? Panthers?

I could have dealt with losing a good game where both teams played well.

It's shameful for a team to come out and make sloppy joes in their pants on the big stage.

I feel like I got clowned....I've said it a few times, but that's what it feels like.

He should but won't. Donkeys will pay him another 20 mil not to win the big one again. They need to move on but can't face the fact that this will end in a fail. Seriously, do they think Manning at almost 39 next December is going to win the SB? He had his Favre over the hill miracle year but that's done and it didn't work. Bringing him back would only be a waste of another season that they need to grow and get younger at the position.

I hope he comes back, it will be a down year when age catches up to him.

Manning won't retire until he breaks all of Favre's records. I am sure he will stack up great stats in regular season but continue to tarnish his legacy with a poor post season record.

Not at all but at this point Manning is 2-2 in postseason games and that was the reason he was signed, to win them and to win a Super Bowl. Had he won yesterday I might feel different about him but today he's still the X-Colt QB who chokes in the playoffs. I can't even bring myself to call him a Bronco, the SB win yesterday would have cemented his legacy as one but today he's still just an overpriced gun for hire short cut and a prima donna nothing more.

"But I really believe it could have been just as lopsided the other way. Just imagine if a jittery Holiday takes a smart touchback instead of hastily returning it to the 15, instead of a bad snap, an overly aggressive D is offsides on the first play giving Manning a free play that goes for 80. A quick three and out and 4 plays into the next drive after our offense does it's thing and converts a few first downs and now Seattle (rather than Denver) is pressing early resulting in a jacked up Earl Thomas concussing Richard Sherman while trying to help tackle DT. Sherman out for the game, quick TD to DT and you get the picture...No deer in the headlights, we stay calm and play our brand of football and it's 43-8 Denver."
