Happy Mardi Gras people.

Tomorrow is Lent.

Today you let it all hang out.

If you've never been to Mardi Gras in New Orleans you should check it out at least once.

(There are 2 Mardi Gras in New Orleans. 1 downtown where all the craziness happens and the other one in the suburbs for family. No tits.)

There is a good family friendly one in Galveston, as well. Shreveport pretty much shoots its wad the weekend before.

That blows. Bob Dole found a nice little New Orleans style restaurant owned by a Coonass Veteran and had a really nice time watching the parade, drinking beer and listening to his stories.

May have to see if he's still there and make another trip.

Lots of ice in Louisiana today, least in the Baton Rouge and New Roads area. Parades may be screwed this year.

Judging by the weather channel dopler radar it looks fucked.

I like it cold during Mardi Gras but not ice and a monsoon rain.

It's been fucking raining here all goddamn day in Houston and cold as shit.

Not as cold as KC though.
