The rules:

In Round 1, I'm going to put up three randomly selected scenes from the nomination thread.

You'll vote for your ONE favorite scene among the three. The key here is FAVORITE. We're not talking about the 'best' or 'most powerful' or 'most meaningful'. We're talking about the scene that you most enjoy watching, however you define that.

The winners will move on. I'll also take the 10 highest-scoring second-place scenes and they'll advance as wild cards.

Some of our nominations did not include clips. This will be noted. If you find a clip, please post it and let me know so I can update it if it moves on.

Tombstone will punch your Dad in the face and he'll turn in his shotgun to the proper authorities just like Billy Bob.

This was an interesting and surprisingly strong heat. I liked all three scenes a lot. My votes:

#1 - It's a Wonderful Life. You have to like a classic movie where a good man's good deed's get rewarded. The thing that makes this scene great is when he gets the book from Clarence.

#2 - Tombstone. That's a darn good and engaging scene that culminates with a great line.

#3 - Kung Fu Hustle. I have to say, it made me laugh out loud. I really liked it, but it drew a really tough heat.

I just love the kung fu movies so I voted for it knowing it doesn't stand a chance against Tombstone.

Close call between Tombstone and It's a Wonderful Life. Two great scenes.

While trying to find the clip, I also saw the chase scene that occurred immediately after the knife throwing, and it's hilarious. It's too bad it wasn't part of the same scene.

Kung Fu hustle the bomb.

So is Tombstone but that scene is not in Tombstones top 5.

Wonderful life is worthless.

Wasn't even my favorite scene, but the movie was really good. Comedic but with awesome fight scenes. This is my favorite scene from that movie.
