Matthews is fragile as hell and their back up is 195 lbs Danny Woodhead. Brown may be better than Mathews.....everybody making moves but us :mad:

This makes little sense

Actually if you look at Ryan Mathews injury history and how badly they suffered in the playoff loss to the Broncos without him, it does make sense. But I'm not sure with their defense that this was the best use of their money.

How so? Mathews/Brown/Woodhead is a really solid stable of RB's and given Mathews' history, we could use the insurance.

Obviously our defense still needs upgrades, especially at corner, but without cap space or the ability to cheat like Denver, we will need to address that mainly through the draft. I'll trust Telesco on this one - other than the Cox signing, his track record has been great so far.
