you think he is a dumbass for not saying negative things about himself (that can cost him money) before the draft?

now I know who the real dumbass is.

He should have stated that he had a tough day and maybe I was a little nervous. But watching him on NFL network he comes accross like Clinton Portis. He's an Idiot !

I'd be pissed with us taking a qb in the first.

We just spent 2 2nds on a qb who is 29. A. Smith is here for at least 6 more years unless he just shits the bed. It would be epicly stupid to use our number 1 on a qb.

Not me, i'd jump up with Joy and cry tears if we took him!lol Im done with serviceable quarterbacks. Ill watch and ill root for the chiefs to play, but our chances are slim to none especially with Manning in our Division. Like i said in another thread, he just wins divisions. WE are already playing for 2nd place.

The Chiefs are not taking any QBs high this year. I can see them taking one late to compete with Bray.....maybe....

Manning is here for 2 years tops (personally I think this is the finale that's why they're going balls in). At 29 Smith is reaching his prime. It'd be dumb for us to devote a 1st to a qb until at least year 4 unless an ungodly opportunity came up.

sometimes opportunities happen. reference Aaron Rodgers drafted while Brett was still playing at a high level.

That's because they thought Favre was gonna retire soon.

Nothing i mean nothing wrong with a QB sitting for a year or 2 learning. I would be ok with it. Besides Smith hasnt extended anything as of yet. Again, i know its not going to happen, but i would be freaking thrilled beyond belief.

He is not very tall for nfl standards at 6'1" but he never lost a home game in his career as a starter 17-0 ROFL

I've been saying the same for a while. I'm not even sure it should be the "late rounds." The dude is a stud QB. Period. Shaw and Murray are both outstanding.

Murray is pretty good too. Didn't he blow out his knee at the end of the season?

He might fall quite a ways

and I would agree with you there. A. Smith for the next 6 (of course unless he turns MC) that is why I said drafting anything other than a late round for the next 4

I'd be cool with Zach Mettenberger in the 4th round if he's still there. This of course depends on if Bray is actually developing substantially if we do or don't draft a QB.
