Ive been saying for a while now that I think this guy might turn out to be the best player in the draft and will be a STUD at either S spot.

At either S spot might be a stretch. I don't think Pryor will ever be a center fielder.

That being said, taking Pryor would allow us to use Berry more effectively...

Yeah he does. But I couldn't help but wonder how many times he would have gotten league in Goodell's new NFL, even if he did lead with his shoulder.

I'd take him. Having a guy like that play next to Berry would open up SO many possibilities for this defense.

Part of what is shocking to me, is how clean those hits are. It would be VERY hard to fine the guy more than once for perfectly legal hits.

Yeah, my posting wasn't catching up with my brain there. When I said "league" I meant "flagged".

Regardless, I'd take him right now. I can't remember Kendrick Lewis even coming close to making tackles anywhere near that level of intensity.

The reality is, while it would be great to have a hard hitter out there in centerfield, you don't need that for the position.

Earl Thomas is the perfect example of that simple fact.

That said, if Pryor somehow fell to 23, and we passed on him, no matter who the hell else is there, I would go ballistic.

My wife wouldn't be able to live with me for a week,

He probably would catch some flags, and opposing teams would catch a case of alligator arms.

You don't have to have one, but.....
And if you watch the Indy PO game Berry played some FS.
Pryor would give us limitless options.
Yeah, if we pass on this guy, I will LOSE it.

He's perfect for the Chiefs - I don't think he wrapped up on a single tackle in that vid...

Pryor, Cooks and Beckham are the 3 players that I would be beyond pissed if they passed on.

I'm not interested in having JUST a big hitter play FS, but it would be damned nice to have a guy that wasn't afraid to lay wood playing back there. Being a centerfielder takes priority, though. If he can do that plus the rest, then grab him post haste.

The NFL has evolved to where safeties are more important than ever. Having two that can do it all in the starting backfield is almost a must for every team.

Hes a strong safety you can get a guy like Buccanon from Washington St who will do the same thing and had 15 INTs in college

You can't tackle with your shoulder in the NFL. He could be good eventually but Payton and any other veteran QB will punk him his rookie year.

33 looks like he did.
38 is a tipped pass. Not even a tackle.
47 he's hitting the qb and stripping the ball.
59 is again him hitting the QB on a blind side blitz.

He's going to have issues when he's in the NFL if he plays that way. NFL players are harder to hit and don't fold like your average college player.

We play Beast mode this year. Gore. Blount and Bell.

Any of those guys can take that hit and keep on trucking. Hell, he'd get run the fuck over or sloughed off...

The 2nd was at :40.
Regardless I can't argue with this post.
You cannot shoulder tackle in the NFL, but they don't show run of the mill text book tackles in highlight vids.......
Nor do the show blown tackles from not wrapping up....

I think it's Commings job to lose. I am just not as sold on him as the chiefs are.
It's not like he has to play great to be an improvement. From horrible to average would be a big improvement.

It would be great to have another hard hitter on the team besides DJ. This kid looks like a beast.
