11. The Hunt Family, Chiefs

Without the Hunt Family, there’d be no NFL as we know it. So why do the Chiefs have only one Super Bowl title, one that came before half of today’s fans were born? Most of the time, you’d point the finger at ownership. But an examination of recent Chiefs history reveals a franchise that’s almost always followed the right process, but simply hasn’t been rewarded with the right results. The greatest coach never to win a Super Bowl title, Marty Schottenheimer, spent his formative years in Kansas City. Dick Vermeil oversaw some of the greatest offenses in league history, but couldn't win a playoff game. Bill Belichick’s right-hand man, Scott Pioli, came to whip the roster into shape, but couldn’t answer the big questions (coach and quarterback). Now there’s Andy Reid, an elite runner up if there ever was one. The Chiefs want to win and know how to win. They just haven’t won. Sometimes it’s that simple. As long as the Hunts are at the helm, however, next year could always be the year.

Should Clark be rated higher or lower??

Always number one. In fact if the list doesn't have us at one, it's automatically a bad list.

Kraft and Bowlin to cheating owners in the top 5. And anyone who believes Kraft was in the dark during Billicheats escapades is a fool. If your such a great owner you are involved in every aspect of the team including the cheating.

That he didn't fire Bilicheat says volumes. Bill know where the skeletons are hidden.

Old drunk ass Bowlin needs no futher discussion as chiefs fans we have been witness to his cheating.

Obviously is depends on your data and what you're measuring, but from a team results perspective...I would have a hard time ranking the Chiefs or Raiders in the top 27 over the past 5 years.

That's kind of stupid. We won a division title, and made the playoffs again last year. But by all means, keep trolling.

Outside hiring the Mercenary QB for the past two years, the Donk's have been bad for the last decade.

11 is about average, so probably pretty close

What gets him in the upper half is the business part of it

If it was just based on wins/losses he would probably be lower 1/3. I guess Marty keeps him afloat though.

Everyone KNOWS Im NO Broncos fan but you gotta give credit where credit is due. Since Bowlen took over 30 years ago, the Donx have only had like 5 losing seasons. I hate to admit it, but they're doing something right...

errr...kind of the opposite, really. Jerry Jones is living proof that you want to put good, smart football people in charge then back off. Besides, Kraft is clearly much more of a delegator.

That he didn't fire Bilicheat says volumes. Bill know where the skeletons are hidden.

 Yep, you got it. Or...maybe pretty much everyone acknowledges that Belichick is probably the best coach in the NFL today, and one of the best ever.

I will give you that he is the best cheating head coach in the game.

Oh and am I supposed to read all the links to the ball washing press telling how great he is and the spying and cheating had no impact what so ever on his majesty.
