lol. no shit.
I've had a 'pucker' scenario once with a deer going around left handed bend. luckily I was quick to react and there was no one in the left lane coming. and being on a sport bike I just leaned that mother in and made it through. I too had to stop and collect myself.

WTF was that horse and carriage doing sitting nearly sideways in the road?

I just had something similar yesterday. Riding my bike and running my dog. Some guy on a motorcycle swerves around some parked cars and just missed my dog. If they had hit, i think he would have had it worse. That's why you wear helmets.

WTF was that horse and carriage doing sitting nearly sideways in the road?

probably putting down too much horsepower to the wheels and lost traction.
should'vve went with some street radials.

WTF was that horse and carriage doing sitting nearly sideways in the road?

Looked like it turned at the first motorcycle (trying to protect itself from something loud and unfamiliar probably).

I think either the horse got spooked from the bike ahead of her or it was trying to take either bike out.

Yeah, you're probably right. It got spooked. Probably shouldn't have a horse out on the highway if it gets spooked like that.

Wow that was close. She did really well in avoiding the horse and not losing the back when she left the roadway.

The horse freaked out after the first bike went screaming by. It's pretty obvious that the driver of the carriage was not in control of the horse and the horse was turning around or something.

I saw a guy hit a horse in a late 1980's celebrity one time, and it crushed the top below level with the hood.

Accident avoidance = A+. She did just fine.

Situational awareness = D-. So much for scanning 12 seconds ahead regularly to anticipate hazards.

OOPS. Upon further review, A+ all the way around. She done good. Bad horsie was bad! When Amish horses ATTACK!

:spock: The horse didn't leave the lane until less than a second before the bike got there.

Look closer, that horse was starting to throw a fit before the bike in front of her even got to it.

It almost looks like there is a third bike quite a ways ahead of the bike ahead of her.

It even sounds like the horse got a jab in on the bike as it went by.
