I worked with a young guy that prefaced every noun and most verbs with the word "fuckin'" as if it were an adjective. Sometimes he would precede a sentence with that word. It is a risky habit to get into when you work with the public as much as we did. Too easy to let it slip out. I am so glad I am retired and don't have to put up with that 'fuckin' stuff any more...

Values are definitely changing. My dad would never drop f bombs like I do, but he'll talk about how muslims shouldn't be allowed in the military and thinks Twin Peaks is great place to get a meal.

This generation doesn't really think there ARE bad words. Just bad ideas.

ROFL If that's the only reason you feel like the odd man out, consider yourself lucky!

So many PC policies in the country today that I find myself at odds with most of it.

I remember when "Harlem Nights" came out and everyone thought it had too much cussing.

I thought it was great. There is something about a well placed "fuck" that makes comedy better.

Then came along "The Big Lebowski".......

People were pissed about the amount of cussing in an Eddie Murphy and Richard Pryor flick?

Sorry, I shouldn't have said "everyone".

It was somewhat cutting-edge for a comedy to cuss that much back then. Some people were shocked.

I was around 11-12 years old at the time, so it was awesome. :D

Lol. I remember seeing it in the theater and wasn't particularly shocked. Hell I grew up watching them do stand up. Its a thought that was bad they should have seen Raw or live on the sunset strip. Not really sure when it came out but I wonder if that was the same time when they started going nuts for parental guidance labels on CDs
