Gillioz in Springfield. I won two tickets from some radio station this week. I honestly don't know who the guy is, but I promised my developmentally disabled brother that I would take him to a concert sometime this year. Who else will I be expecting?

I would but ever since he stole my song- "My gas tank is Running on Empty" and changed a few words here and there- I don't listen to his music.

He's the Joan Rivers of musicians with bad plastic surgery. His music is OK.

Is he the one who told you Lo-Cain sucks?

No. That was Lorenzo Cain's stat sheet.

Did it involve a pentatonic scale on repeat for 5 minutes? If so, you've mistaken Jackson Browne for Jimmy Page.

Saw him in 1978 on the "Running on Empty" tour. Excellent concert when he was at the top of his game.

That was a long time ago, though.

You don't know who Jackson Browne is? Do you know who the Eagles are or who Linda Ronstadt is??

Springfield? So the Chuck E Cheese you spanked in was likely the one in Springfield too? The one by Best Buy I take my kids to several times a year? That's just fucking great.

I actually went over to the Guitar Center to the right of Chuck E. Cheese's.

Hence the CPism, 'I can drop a better load at any Guitar Center than that.'

Did you ever get a hold of Stern to complain for me using his avatar on ChiefsPlanet? I've been waiting for his on-air rant, but it's yet to come. :(

That's the key question on this whole thread.

I only know two Jackson Browne songs, but that's enough to warrant going to a concert of his.

What stat sheet are you looking at? Fangraphs has him as MLB's 16th best OF:

If you listen to "The Pretender" and don't think it's a classic song, there's something wrong with you

I just finished listening to the majority of the songs mentioned in this thread. Somebody's Baby is pretty catchy.

"She's gotta be somebody's only light, gonna shine tonight. Yeahhh, she's gotta be somebody's baby alright!"

Good stuff guys.

Agreed. Amazing song, and lyrics too. He's an interesting note in that Eagles documentary that aired on Showtime a couple years ago... Glenn Frey talked about how he learned how to write just from living with Jackson Browne, and seeing how he would relentlessly work on songs over and over and over until he got it right.

If you don't know that song you're not a Jackson Brown fan. Or maybe you're just a child.

But Rosie, you're all right
You wear my ring
When you hold me tight
Rosie, that's my thing
When you turn out the light
I've got to hand it to me
Looks like it's me and you again tonight, Rosie
