I agree with you. I've been harping on their plate discipline all year. When Yost gets questioned about it, he says, "They're naturally aggressive. You can't just change who they are, they won't take more pitches."

What does that sound like to you? It sounds like a manager that is calling out his GM saying his players refuse to change their approach.

And the same stupid organizational approach this team uses that seems to work in the minors but doesn't translate to the big leagues. Maybe that's because pitching is better in the show and you have to wait for your pitch! Ned's right, you can't change a hitter who has been doing something the same way for years and years. If you make that change, it's done at a lower level than the majors.

without knowing the approach the HC has,I can't answer. I just know a tried and proven approach that I know we do not do, for that matter, NO MLB team does.

What's really incredible is Hochevar had one of the best seasons by a Royals set up guy, maybe ever... and we thought there's no way to replace that, and Davis has been even better.
