I've been impressed with the Royals turnout. The seats by the Royals dugout were mostly blue both nights I went. Definitely pretty vocal too with Moose chants frequently, which is perfect because Dbacks fans were probably booing at the same time.

Prolly developed a following from surprise?
No idea because 14 teams make Phoenix their spring training home and I'm not sure of all the teams here, the Royals would make my list if I was looking to root for a team. The couple in front of us the first night were from Topeka and took the train to Flagstaff and drove down for the games. Phoenix seems to have a large percentage of people from KC who aren't afraid to travel here or winter here.
Anyone else planning to switch from chiefs to royals at first pitch?

Perhaps not, but still, I just do not agree with that anyways, because we're just starting August, and you want your pitchers to at least stay healthy and fresh.

Butler saw me with my daughter and threw me a ball then signed it. I got two other balls. My four month old daughter was good bait lol. He saw that my wife is a D-backs fan and said to her "You're wearing the wrong gear ma'am." My daughter and I were decked out in our Royals attire of course. I made her do the sweeping motion walking out of the ballpark. She's too cute for people to get mad at me lol.
Shout out to our fans that screamed "home of the CHIEFS!" at the national anthem, that was sweet! And it was awesome hearing the "let's go Royals!" chant in the middle of the 9th inning. D-backs fans didn't like that but it was throughout the ballpark. It was Royals-West. Way to represent guys! GO ROYALS!!
