Chiefs 6 point favorites on Opening Day (without Bowe) 2014

Chiefs are 6 point favorites without Bowe on opening day...

Two questions for those interested:

1) In general, would you ever bet against the Chiefs?

Since you know the team better than most....you may have an opportunity to make some coin if you could pick a few key games here and there....I don't think I ever have, or if I have it has been part of a parlay card deep in a lost season. I think it is bad mojo to bed against them, personally.

2) This game specifically (Sept 7 , 2014 -- TENN vs KC) do you think that the Titans being given 6 points is too much?

I don't know much about the Titans, but I think the game will be closer than 6 points.....If I was going to bet one way or the other I think I would take the 6 points or just take the money line and hope....but I can't do it....especially game opener.

I'm assuming no matter how bad of a season (any season ,not this one per se) you think the chiefs would have ...most here would never bet against the Chiefs at least until they were out of the playoff hunt mathematically ?

Tenn sucks. I would have no problem laying 6 but I agree with some others that the number will move in our favor. I'm waiting until a few days before but will take KC and lay 4.5 to 5.5

After the Chiefs drop the next 3 preseason games in lackluster fashion-the line will be 3.5 by game day. Chiefs will cover the spread and a whole lot more- due to return TD.s and lots of turnovers by the Titans.
