Holy crap! That's pretty unbelievable! Our galaxy is so small in the grand scope of things.

simply incredible.

travelling at the speed of light, it would take ONE HUNDRED MILLION YEARS to cross the super cluster.

Which means we have no real idea if any of that shit even exists anymore. We just know it did 100 million years ago.

The distances involved are so far beyond our frame of reference that we can't even grasp them. The galaxy itself is too large to really understand, in terms of scale, and it's just an insignificant fragment of a structure so vast that there aren't really even words to adequately describe it.

I've always wondered whats at the end of all this. People just say it goes on forever but that's just dumb.

Why is it dumb? Do you think there is a wall somewhere?

Yes, I do. Actually I think that this whole space thing is inside somethings rectum, you know like a colossal dinosaur and these planets are just digestive enzymes rolling around and those supernovas you see is just acid reflux.

That's what I really am thinkin right now.

100,000,000 years to a main sequence star is like a human year and to a galaxy it is like half a day.

It's as infinity big as it is small.

That was pretty humbling.

When they showed the second cluster all I could wonder was what the larger structure that contains these super clusters must be like.
