Which team is that?

We don't face a team this year competing for the no 1 pick.

The Rams are use to playing without their starting QB. They'll hit 4 or 5 wins.

The Raiders play us close even in years we are good. Plus they have a kicker who can make FG's without having to bank them.

What team do you see us playing with a worse offense?...

With Bowe back, it should give our offense a nice boost. He helps convert a lot of 1st downs for us which Avery failed to do.

I also hope that Reid realizes that we need to use our TEs a lot more than we use our WRs.

KC plays at Oakland on a short week after playing Seattle. They're not winning that game.

By the time Oakland comes to Arrowhead the team will be in double digit losses. They'll have packed it in.

I will agree that people hating on Bowe are high caliber idiots, but racists?

Thats a dumb blanket statement to make, go case by case on that... Bowe has his faults and if those pointing them out are racist then be ready to prove it.

On a football note, if we're hurting this bad for Bowe it really speaks to our depth... Dorsey really messed up here, I didnt want to believe it, but yeah he did... messed up BAD.

Don't get it twisted. Dwayne Bowe doesn't help this team at any facet this season.

There's no correlation between his suspension and the team sucking, that was inevitable. But today should get people thinking, as incorrect as it is, that his absence negatively impacts this team because Chiefs' fans have continually downgraded his talents and effectiveness on the team.

Bowe isn't a true #1 anymore, but he's the only WR on this entire team who is still starter quality and can make the play for a 1st down more often than not. Without Bowe, there is almost zero chance of converting a 3rd down by throwing to our WRs.

That's absurd. He helps every facet of the offense. he makes teams respect a receiver. He opens up the middle of the field for the tight ends, and he helps Charles. Why? Because alex has shown faith in him. And that makes him a threat.

No one fears, nor respects Avery, Hammond, Hemmingway. You have to game plan for Bowe.
Would Bowe of made the game changing alterations today?
Probably not. This was a shit game all the way around, but, for the Chiefs to not be a top 5 picking team, they need Bowe to live up to his talent.
Now, ill kindly leave you alone as to not plague you with my alex slurping and excuse making that has so distraught your life.

He is also the receiver with which Smith has the highest comfort level with on this team. Smith turns to him when he needs a big play and Charles can't get it for him. It really changes the offense a lot when Bowe isn't on the field because Smith no longer has a WR that he can depend on out there.

I hope Smith starts to look at Kelce in the same way he looks at Bowe.

1) Bowe has been the best receiver on the team since Gonzalez was traded.

2) Bowe will likely play to a good, but probably not great, level this year.

3) Bowe playing today would not have mattered in terms of winning or losing.

4) HOWEVER, his absence in today's loss should wake people up to facts 1) and 2) rather than the diva / idiot / butterfingers conception a lot of Chiefs' fans have of him.

#3 is hard to quantify, if he's there to make a third down or two, or to throw deep to besides Avery and his tiny ass a few times who knows... its entirely possible that he becomes the difference.

But he wasnt there and he didnt... so fine, this WR corp is absolute junk beyond him and thats the truth.
