So are we gonna go out and pick up any FA ILB or DE to replace Johnson and/or Devito? Or are we content with their backups? Is there anyone out there worth a look? Trying to remain as positive as possible....

They will both be on ir There will be bodies on the roster. They will probably suck.

I think Pat Angerer, who has been suggested, makes a lot of sense.

I just don't see a point to signing below average stopgaps to replace both of those guys. They're not going to help win a championship this season, and likely won't help the following seasons after that.

I'd go with Tim Dobbins.

Your sister plays DE? I see that she got both the looks and athletic ability in the family.

Nothing matters at this point. This team needs talent upgrades everywhere so we may as well loose them all.

I'd be ok with us losing them too

They might just move Houston to ILB and start Dee Ford at OLB.

Why do you assume she's a DE? She has enough quick twitch skills to play ILB.

What kind of cap space do we even have to sign someone at this point?

I'd be surprised to see DJ take another snap. That's sad shit if it works out that way.

Yep. If I'm using Over the Cap correctly, cutting him saves $5 million in cap space next season. He's gone.

The Chiefs have a ton of cap space. Remember when they cut Brandon Flowers in the prime of his career so he could sign with their division rival for a fraction of the cost?
