Rosters are expanded, if KC misses the playoffs (I believe only AL Central winner makes the playoffs) it will be because KC did not get a big enough lead on Detroit before rosters expanded and they could call up reinforcements from minors. Therefore, tired bullpens are not much of an issue now IMO.
