That should break the Ravens!

This trade would be fantastic for multiple reasons.

A) they ****ed up drafting Nico Johnson.
B) they ****ed up signing Joe Mays.
C) You're getting a young 2nd round player at a position of need in exchange for a player who won't see the field and didn't cost a draft pick.
D) He's a local kid (witchita - KSU)
E) If DJ comes back you have a potential complementary player.
F) If DJ doesn't come back you have a potential replacement.

Sounds like they need to make it happen, how many picks do they have next year like 10 or 11

Even if DJ comes back, everything I'm reading suggests he wont be nearly the same.

Second round pick last year. Touted by raven fans last year as the next ray Lewis. He sucks.

OldSchool
09-09-2014, 01:43 PM
Highest I'd give for him is maybe a 5th. He hasn't really shown the ability to take on blockers and shed them but is pretty good in space. His other problem is that he just doesn't play with enough instincts and vision, which is why he got buried on the Ravens' depth chart.

Would probably be better in a 4-3 than our 3-4.

These are literally the exact things that were said about DJ in his first few seasons. Brown has all the physical tools to be a dominant LB, he just needs some development time, as DJ did.

EDIT: He's also miles better than anyone we currently have at the position...starter or otherwise.

I'd go Greg Hill and Snoop Minnis lets not get carried away. Barry got 1,000 yards once.
