Tiny strike zone definitely is probably a bigger advantage for the Indians than it is for KC. They're good at taking pitches. KC is shitty at it.

If Vargas is pitching with a guy with a tight strike zone behind the plate, he's going to have a tough time. He needs to be able to expand the zone a bit and get guys to swing at his pitch.

If he's forced to come over, his stuff just isn't that great unless he has impeccable command.
