I live in Northern California now, and I've been to Levi's Stadium. It's not in San Francisco. It's in Santa Clara which is 50 miles South, and inland near San Jose.

It gets hot. The forecast tomorrow is 93 degrees. And dry. It will likely be over 100 on the field when the game starts.

Chiefs played really well in that heat in Miami, some were saying that was a result of the St. Joe training camp. Thoughts on tomorrow?

My biggest concern is our secondary in the run game. If we don't contain the run at the line, I'm afraid Gore will just make our non-tackling secondary look like chumps. I just watched the replay of the Eagles game and he was beasting through their LBs and secondary.

That stadium is a disaster. People there hate it. It will feel like 120 for the people on the opposite side of the luxury boxes.

This summer was extremely mild in Missouri. There were a couple of hot days. Hopefully it is a dry heat

It doesn't disperse heat very well?

Figures, it's gonna be bordering on chilly here in Florida tomorrow. Highs about 78, low about 57. Brrrrrr.

Santa Clara is much hotter than SF.

http://www.mercurynews.com/southbayfootball/ci_26360587/49ers-fans-complain-unbearable-heat-at-levis-stadium on that day, it was 80 in the new stadium, but it was only 66 at Candlestick.

The sun bounces off the humongous luxury suites and directly onto the fans on the other side baking that side.

Had planned on it months ago but some family stuff popped up. I'm gonna go into the city and watch it at a bar full of angry 49ers fans. :thumb:

Meh, I don't hate it, although the 'Stick was a dump I still prefer it. It's hot but not horrible unless you're soft

The tailgating tho is a nice surprise, the main Blue Lot has been awesome

Gee, glad Californians paid for it, then.

Thanks for the stadium and air conditioned megasuites for the team owners! Sorry about the ultra-heat, we didn't give two shits about it when we built the thing with your money.

If it's at all like LA has been, don't count on it. I mean it's dry compared to MO, but it's been unusually humid this summer in Cali. (Purely observational, no meteorology here)

I see smoke coming out of half my neighborhoods fireplaces. Cause it's below 80 here in Florida now.

Dang, Levis stadium is quite a ways from San Francisco. It would be the equivalent of Arrowhead being in Lawrence.
