Because he is the greatest DL player in the NFL since Seymour and Haynesworth were dominant and in their primes. He's better than either of them ever were. Hell, he might be up there with the Reggie Whites and Bruce Smiths when it's all said and done.
He would easily take the Chiefs defense to the next level if he were here.

OldSchool, I would never ever be all over his nuts - or any professional sports player. In fact, Ex-Giants RB Ahmad Bradshaw is doing a damn good job on Watt in pass protection.
Perhaps the Texans should have spread Watts' extension money around to better the team.
Just my opinion.

The weird thing is, the Texans have a pretty good roster, they just have jack shit at the QB position and their DC is pretty shitty.
You don't think that Watt would help JPP and your other DL players out tremendously?
The average margin of victory in Thursday night games this year has been 28 points. This game isn't looking much better. That's pretty amazing for games with two NFL teams.

Not at $100 million for a DE. At that price, Watt is going to mess up the Texans going forward for a long time.

He's not just any DE though, he's a game changer with the ability to line up almost anywhere on the DL except for NT.
I honestly can't wait until Clowney is back, I really want to see how big of a difference that makes for the Texans defense. Outside of Watt, they don't have anyone who is an impact player in their pass rush package.

I'm guessing you're referencing our disagreement from a few weeks ago.
He is a bit overrated. He's already been crowned but he FEASTS on that shitty ass division. I mean, he hasn't done much of anything outside of divisional games this season.
He was a big part of the reason the Broncos got out to a quick 24 point lead and then threw a comeback-killing INT in the 4th, threw one of the dumbest INTs of recent memory against the Eagles in field goal range to go up 10 with like 4 minutes left (effectively putting the game out of reach), and what did he do last week? I think I remember his stat line was like 1 TD and 2 INTs or something. Meanwhile he's thrown like 12 TDs in 9 1/2 quarters against divisional opponents.
I'm not impressed.

Watt sacked Eli once during the Houston / Giants game a couple of weeks ago ... Justin Pugh, the Giants OT, let him go during the play – clearly a mistake on his part. Otherwise, Watt was effectively neutralized the entire game.
Honestly, I was expecting Watt to be disruptive force, although it never happened - It should have because the Giants were testing players at the time to see who would work best.

New York Giants
After failing to be drafted in the 2004 NFL Draft, Lorenzen signed as undrafted free agent with the New York Giants.
In the 2006 preseason, Lorenzen led his team to victory by engineering a game-winning drive against the Baltimore Ravens. Following that performance and an impressive training camp he was officially named the Giants backup quarterback three weeks later.
Lorenzen made his first appearance on the field in a Giants uniform on December 30, 2006. During this game, he was used for one play, a quarterback sneak to make a first down on a third-and-one.
Lorenzen made his second appearance on Sunday, January 7, 2007, in the Giants wild card loss against the Philadelphia Eagles. On the Giants opening drive, he lined up at quarterback on a third-and-one and got the first down, "shifting the pile" in the process, on the way to a Giants touchdown. He also entered the game in the third quarter but the Giants called timeout and Manning took over at quarterback.
Lorenzen's first significant regular season appearance occurred on September 9, 2007, when he took over for the injured Manning in the fourth quarter of the season opener against the Dallas Cowboys. Lorenzen made both his first regular season pass and rush, but failed to earn a first down. He did not see further action in the 2007 season, because Manning's injury did not cost him any further playing time.
Lorenzen was released by the Giants on June 23, 2008.

I like you guys, but you have super short term memories.
The referees handed the Indy/Philly game to Philly on a silver platter with a terrible missed call on a Luck INT and then a terrible horse collar call on a 5 yard run stuff that ended up being a TD for Philly.
So uh, yeah. The refs just suck. In every major league sport. It's human nature. But they aren't swinging it one way or another...they're just...bad.
Andrew Luck looks really stupid. I'm sure he's a smart guy- but he looks retarted.

I respect your opinion. Do not get me wrong - I love defenses - Watt is good - But not worth $100 million. - One defensive player does not make a defense.

Your choice to be a fan.
Fact is KC isn't finishing higher than San Diego, and the worst case scenario for them is 9-7.
At least two of the three AFC North teams are going 9-7. Houston can probably go 9-7.
But it's a moot point as the Chiefs are probably going 6-10 because Alex Smith doesn't have enough weapons or the defense isn't good enough to hold a team within 30 points or something.
