Being someone who is 40 years old and having limited knowledge of the Royals when they were truly good, its suriel to see them as the favorates 6/5 to win the whole thing. Seems like Vegas feels very good about them, or at least that's where the money is going.

I think being favored is mostly simply because the Royals are up 2-0. SF is up 1-0. The other two teams are obviously down 0-2 and 0-1.

Therefore, the Royals have the best chance of advancing to the WS, which of course is the first step in winning it.

Also, the casual fan's money probably is going to KC in somewhat of a bandwagon effect.

I bet back in March 15/1 to win the AL and 30/1 to win WS.Only $20 on each a buddy of mine sent a $50 bill with me and did the WS only.

True, but I guarantee you the Royals will be favored straight up in a WS vs the Cardinals or Giants. Royals have a better record than SF and dismantled them in the regular season, and only one game worse than STL. Combine that with the fact that whenever the Royals get a home game w the DH they have even more if an advantage
