The NY Daily News' Gary Myers writes today about the turmoil in New York with Jets head coach Rex Ryan and GM John Idzik. In the piece, he mentions two names of interest to the Chiefs as possible GM replacements for the Jets.

"If Johnson goes for a candidate with experience, I think Scott Pioli, the assistant GM in Atlanta, is the best choice. He will have learned from his four years (2009-12) as the Chiefs GM."

Why do the jets like hiring KC's leftover front office guys so much?

Seriously... they are to KC front office people what KC is to back up san francisco quarterbacks.

Too bad Cassel's under contract with the Vikings for another year. LMAO

Watching them reunite in New York would have been the best thing evar.

They should trade a 2nd round pick to the Vikings for him.

Maybe the Vikes could throw in Chad Greenway. LMAO

Obviously, Pioli would go for Ryan Mallett in Houston, amiright? LMAO

I think Pioli would surely chase down Ryan Fitzpatrick.

The Falcons immediately got AIDS as soon as he got there. Symptoms include Tyson Jackson and Jon Asamoah with a side of Javier Arenas.

The Jets facilities would have the cleanest stairwells of any organization in the NFL along with the youngest office staff.

Perfect for Belichick. He's sending his rats to ruin other teams. What perfect way to keep the Jets down than sending the Ebola Virus Pioli to NY?

I think CP's wonder boy Dimitroff is about to get the boot, or at least should get the boot, out of Atlanta.

Then they can really get the band back together over there in New England.

Stay in Atlanta Pioli... the Bucs need to get good real quick.

WTF evidence is there Pioli learned ANYTHING in his four years here?

Exactly this. He was intent on PROVING himself right, that he took his underachievers with him to Atlanta. 2-6 and trending down speaks volumes. .

Yet there's some who were concerned over all of the players we lost in the offseason.
