Nah, I'd rather he pull a Houston and make me and others who think that he might be expendable look like fools. If he plays anywhere close to what I thought he could when he came out of college, the Chiefs will have a very nice trio of safeties between Berry, Abdullah, and now Parker as a nickle safety. No more real liability on the backend.

I hope Gaines continues to improve as well. Him being able to stick to Royal was a huge step forward.

Parker was a monster last game. He was doing some kind of weird roaming especially on the goal line where he would pick up the deepest inside route run with him and break off and then go straight to a QB spy.

The main thing though is that Gaines is one of the best CB's in the league already at trail technique. He just chases you down.
