I'm home not feeling well tonight, so I flipped on King of the Hill. What a show. I think it might be my all time favorite animated series.
Do you like KOTH? What's your favorite animated series?
One of my roomates turned me on to Bob's Burgers as well.
Hell of a show.

So much better than Family Guy or American Dad.
Seth McFarlane is a funny guy, but those shows get old after a while.

I LOVE cartoons, KOTH being one of my faves.
All the Judge cartoons rule : KOTH, Beavis & Butt-Head, and Daria are all excellent social commentary, as well as funny & entertaining as all get out.
Simpsons, Aqua Teen, Moral Orel, Boondocks, Metalocalypse, Space Ghost Coast to Coast, Sealab 2021, South Park...

When South Park is on they are the hands down best cartoon. But when they are off they are horrible. King of the Hill is the most realistic of them, its essentially an animated sitcom. Family Guy is pretty consistent on the funny. Of course the Simpsons are the gold standard. I don't care for Bob's Burgers or American Dad.

Up until the very late '90's The Simpsons wasn't just the best animated show on TV, it was one of the best shows on TV period.
When it fell though, it fell hard.

Never seen it. Haven't watched South Park or Simpsons for a long time either.
Give me a short cartoon, maybe The Regular Show.....and I am good to go.

I liked King of the Hill. It was pretty good. But it just had some moments of dullness to it that I didn't like.
That was my opinion when I was younger anyways. Now that I'm 10 years older or so, I might like it a little more.

And American Dad is one of my favorites. It's super witty, amazingly accurate, and 1000x better than any of the other MacFarlane shows.
Yeah, it has some dull episodes.
That can be said for most, if not all shows though.
I really didn't care for the final season of KOTH. The episodes with Lucky and Luanne's baby were crap.

Wow, someone else who watched Home Movies. That show proved that you can create a quality product without a huge budget. All about the writing and voice acting, folks.
My vote for most hated animated show?
Squidbillies. Seriously, who was the nut-job that created that?
If I had to pick one I liked the most......probably Futurama.

that's because MacFarlane doesn't do much one it besides voices. It's not really his show at all
Family Guy just sucks TBH, every episode has to have some racist or child molestation joke. The writing is just lazy.
I like Bob's Burgers but I like all of the voice actors outside of the show. It might be that the kind of comedy isn't for everyone.
I can't believe no one has mentioned Archer yet, I'd figure this forum would love Archer.

King of the Hill is a fantastic show. One of my all time favorites. It rates second for me in terms of animated comedies; behind South Park.
Bob's Burgers is an awful show that I've attempted to watch like five times. It really sucks and isn't funny in my estimation.

I laughed at this. Sorry.
I'll say this: it would have died in a fire a long time ago if it weren't for H. Jon Benjamin, who makes every cartoon he's ever been in watchable and awesome. Bob's Burgers is less awesome than Home Movies, Dr. Katz, and (certainly) Archer, but as long as he's doing voices for it, it will stay on the air a bit longer.
