Was just curious, after realizing that's who this 505 Chief Dumbass is, why he was banned before, and why he's allowed back.

FTR I'm not asking for him to be banned.
I could care less, and am not a fan banning anyone when you can just ignore them.
I just really can't remember what happened with him.

I know he's been banned multiple times, and I'm pretty sure some of his usernames are perma-banned.

Does anyone remember?

No. He's a douche that loves to talk shit about me. Which is totally fine. I'm working on staying away from moderating when it involves people that involve personal issues. I can be emotional, and I just do everything I can to not make emotional moderating decisions. Every dumpster fire I've started as a mod started out because of that, so I pass that shit to the rest of the team. Everyone is better for it.

Permabans are a joke, because the people are let back in. If the idea is to have a longterm ban that you can reverse whenever Hootie/Clay/whomever suckers enough mods into believing that everything's roses, just call it an open ended ban and make up some shit about "genuine contrition" or the like.

I've got into it with shitsprayer many times in DC. He is real. No BS. He believes what he says and walks the talk. I totally disagree with his positions but respect him for living his beliefs. He brings something to the board that's not here now.

Hootie and shitsprayer have shorter leashes for mod action than say DartGod but beyond that........ we don't need to agree with or read everyone's posts on here. Just put them on ignore. This has always been a "spicy" low moderated board. I don't want that to change. There are other boards more closely moderated if you prefer that style.
