He must have learned it from Bowe. First it's name-pointing, then it's flogging the bishop.

Agreed.

It's sad to see KC always draft these character issue guys. Wish we could get a humble, nose-to-the grindstone type of player for once!!

Per Terez Paylor

Reid on Kelce’s gesture: “Sounds like it was a bit of an immature act. I normally don't let those things go by, so I'll address that.”

The running game is suffering enough as it is with the lack of blocking. I wouldn't mind if we run away from his side... his blocking at the LOS is really that bad.

I would seriously rather see him fined 22k for uppercutting Miller than 11k for making some trivial gesture.

Thats not enough, Travis... someone deliberately spears YOUR QB in the back? Then take the initiative and knock their ass out instead of pointless gesturing, seriously.

It wasnt enough, Travis... what if Hali had done that to Manning, you think some denver player is just gonna jerk off while the ref makes the call? The Chiefs better get tough or they'll always get stepped on.

I've never understood all of the head punching in serious football fights, if a guy really wanted to knock someone else out he'd come up under their facemask... grab that mask with the left and jam it up, then come underneath it with a big right cut.

While that sounds great, a 15 yard penalty in a key drive doesn't drive the point home.

Not sure a 15 yard penalty and ejection of our best receiving threat would have done a whole lot to help the situation.

I hear you guys, I totally hear you... but damn man, hasnt every other great team strategically, or maybe not so strategically, sacrificed a player or two to protect not only their reputation, but their starting QB?

Is an NFL game really any different than normal life, where if you let some asshole get away with a flagrant foul they'll just keep pushing their boundaries? Are Ray Lewis' Ravens going to just let that shit slide? Would Olin Kreutz let the Colts cheapshot Sexy Rexy without a fight?

I honestly dont care what reasoned replies you two come up with, a badass team getting ready to snap peoples necks in the playoffs doesnt let a bitter rival or anyone else give their teams leader a blatant cheapshot like that without tangible compensation.

It may sound like a bunch of rahrah bunk at first glance, but it reeeally isnt... as far as I'm genuinely concerned, a lack of fight and passion is far worse than a few penalties.

Can't believe Kelse got fined $11,025 bucks for the gesture and Miller wasn't fined for trying to hurt a QB.

But Kelse should appeal the fine. The league went way overboard with the extra 25 bucks.
