I give a ton of credit to Ron Livingstone and how he played the character. He just nailed it.
Also John C Reilly and Stephen Root were the two best supporting actors of the film by a long shot IMHO.
I still think the gutting of the fish in the cubicle was one of the highlights of the film for me.....ROFL

Milton's stapler was red. Swingline, the nation's largest stapler maker, didn't make red staplers. But after the movie came out, they started getting requests for red staplers, so they started making them, all thanks to Milton.

This movie was instrumental in my move from office employee to welder. I'm currently back in the office(promoted from welder), and we have two senior mngrs, affectionately known as " the Jeffs"
It's still fun to say "I gotta meeting with the Jeffs"

That movie was hilarious when I was in my early twenties and wasn't stuck in a shitty office job. Now that I'm 37 and am stuck shitty office job that I hate it's pretty depressing to watch. To sum up, funny when it's someone else, not so funny when it's happening to you.
