I dunno if Vermes lost it I mean. That team just injured and fatigued though I am real glad to see we didn't rest on that excuse have made some big moves.

Tell ya what I am not sure. I don't think it will be the same Vermes 4 3 3. I have heard rumors of a 3 man back line even. Wouldn't surprise me to see with all of the talented midfielders we have.

I see Benny playing a littler deeper this year. Benny and Nameth creating chances for Dom to put it in with Nameth having a little more freedom to make direct runs and have a go himself. Roger will be everywhere it doesn't even matter where you put him. He will both protect and create.

Yes they did. It was a wonderful evening weather wise and the team seems to still be figuring out playing with each other. The goal scored was a massive header from Opara on a great cross from Feilhaber. They gave it right back almost immediately on an amazing shot from distance from NY. Besler picked up his second yellow and Sporting played a man down the latter stages, actually more than twenty minutes. It appeared from where I stood to be a stupid challenge on Besler's part, especially in light of already having a card. Interested to see how this comes together or crashes magnificently.

That ref has always been a dick to Sporting, I hate when I see him on the field. I think it showed less yesterday than normal, which was nice.

Playing in the west makes things a lot more difficult for us, but I feel good about our chances going forward.
