I'm using Chrome with chiefsplanet whitelisted on adblock, but since this thread was made, it's no longer happening.

Chrome on Windows 8.1. Only started happening after I whitelisted this site a couple weeks ago.

A search on Google for "redirect http://lemode-mgz.com/" suggests a ton of forums have been hit with this - whatever it is. If anyone is bored and finds a solution posted somewhere, I'm sure that'd help Austin out as he's troubleshooting this.

I think it's an Adsense issue. I found references to it happening on multiple forum software platforms, so I don't think it's vBulletin or the core database that's been compromised. That also makes sense if Adblock takes care of it.

Wonder if there's some sort of updated code available.

Sounds like Chiefsplanet is infected with malware. I don't claim to know enough about vBulletin to know how it gets infected with malware, but I just Googled "vBulletin malware", and I got a bunch of hits talking about this very thing.

Yep. I did a little more digging, and I think there are some ads getting through Google's Adsense that are somehow causing the redirect.

Austin should be able to block those sites at the account level, so if you get redirected, post any URLs that you get directed to (that haven't already been posted).

It's definitely code that is getting slipped past Google into Adsense. I have found and blocked a few but will keep reviewing to make sure. Let me know if it persists.

thing until this gets fixed? I have no problem with turning off adblock when it gets fixed, but until then, I'm leaving adblock on and that message is quite annoying since it loads a few seconds after the rest of the page loads causing everything on the page to shift down.

Yeah for me on both my tablet and my laptop. I have not noticed a pattern with a particular thread, but it started immediately after I watched a video on here. It was either the sobbing proposal or another one that I can't recall right now. maybe it's a coincidence or maybe it's not but I posted about it when it happened.

I think it's related to specific, individual ads that end up the rotation, but those ads are often user-specific. For example, I've had a (normal) LiquidWeb ad a lot today because I'd searched for them recently.

My guess is that people who get "picked" for one of the redirect ads get it over and over again for a while, but once the ad moves on, you don't see it anymore.

I just had the user cp button redirect me to weird site with a pop up window that blocked me from clicking on anything but its yes or no buttons.

I force quit Safari and all is good now. :shrug:

If you get redirected often and on more than one site you probably have the Google Redirect Virus. That thing is the absolute worst too because it requires a lot more than just a malware remover to GTFO.

The "go to first new post" button has redirected me to this popup at this address twice today. No problems on any other forums and I've force quit Safari both times it popped up.

Google says this thing is a real pain in the ass but I can't find it on my system. Think it's ebolaids or a CP add deal?

Run Malwarebytes on your pc then let me know if it persists.

I got something very very similar to this 2-3 times last night, and only when on the Planet, totally froze me up and the only thing that got me out was control alt delete... ran a scan but came back clean, so I dont know what the hells going on.
