That's as good as anything from my experience.

Not really Saul. An exacta and quinella are different animals (you may know the difference, but someone else may not)

I will agree that it's generally my favorite wager though. Usually Key (or wheel depending on the track) one with two others.

Unless you are big time into OTB, researching the horses, track, etc, this is your only real strategy. Others will help you out. It's not poker. Tip those guys.

Honestly without some research you're kind of just flinging shit against a wall to see if any sticks. (Not trying to be a dick, just telling it the way I see it)

Might be some truth to this considering how my cat tears through the house after a dump.

It's a more common 'good luck charm' if your horse urinates before, for the reason you gave. Jockey should clear as well.

A good way to get lucky is to put 5 bucks on 1 number in every race, i usually go with 1,3, or 7. Reason is 3, and 7 are my lucky numbers and the 1 is the inside. It's worked great for me. Also watch that horse racing channel. Those guys nail some of their pick 4's for big money. The tickets can get pricey but when it pops its good for thousands at times.

You will most likely be a fan for life - My Father and my Granddad both live at the tracks. Dad goes basically every weekend. I never got into that sort of thing - I've had great luck w/ draw games such as Keno where you actually can get lucky - since they draw 20 numbers ranging from 1-80 -- I've won a lot more than Dad EVER did - I've hit 2500$ about 3 times - 5k twice and 50k once - a little over a year ago. So... Just saying - also Mo and Ks Lotto both offer Keno once every few minutes - you could literally play all day - As sometimes I do. Also the prizes are very close to the same amount as Ga lotto's.

Not to hijack your thread hoot, but also; Ga Lottery airs a game once every four mins. online - on their site. So you could play from 6am to 1pm in Georgia, online.

I generally buy 20 game increments - and sometimes man - i swear to God those numbers just come. It's the Lotto's best kept secret - if you play it enough, one could win 2-4 yr. semi life changing prizes.

Unfortunately, instead of being happy I just bet ridiculous amounts going for the gold!

I spend quite a bit.

But there absolutely ARE tricks.

Here's a few things I do:

I try to play at times where you know there are a lot of players, my thing is is the Ga Lotto HAS to regulate the winnings - therefore they control the numbers as best as they can. HOWEVER you get a lot of different games going - because in Georgia the bars carry live Keno - so the MORE players you have - the better your chances - because when you have a BUNCH of players throughout the state simultaneously playing - it's MUCH harder for them to regulate - and I find I win biggest between 7-10pm Thur Fri and Sat nights. That's my best guess as to how it happens behind the curtain.

I ALWAYS play multiplier - it's an extra dollar - so it turns a dollar game into a two dollar game - but it's worth it.

While I pick my numbers I try to be completely empty minded and just pick as fast as possible w/o ANY thought - it's hard - but if you empty your mind entirely of any methodical number picking - you'll have your best rounds, I find.

I do play a lot - I pay all my bills have an established bank account - I don't drink nor have a SO to answer to - so that's my little escape.

Most don't know of Keno's potential because they don't play enough - however I'd never wish the addiction on anyone - because it certainly can win. But GENERALLY it reciprocates nicely - so often you'll find yourself playing with house money. I won't tell you how much I spend on it per week. But I assure you - I'll hit at least 10k again this year - Mark my words.

Simply Red
01-24-2015, 12:54 PM
I like 8 spots - if you hit 8 you get 10k x however much the multiplier is - that's how I hit my 50k last year - was I had a five time multiplier and cashed all 8 numbers.

However at times - I'll buy 10 cards w/ three games per - 3 spots - $2 games - so with this stategy - if they pick 3 numbers out of the twenty they draw between 1 and 80 - you'd get $50 if your numbers come - and then whatever the multiplier - it could be 10x meaning you'd win $500 - There are times I do this method and win $700 or more - off of $120....

The odds are MUCh higher to hit a 3-spot. I DO hit 6 out of 8 about every weekend though. So that's how close I ALWAYS come to at least ten k -- (two numbers away)

Simply Red
01-24-2015, 12:57 PM
so lastly - last night - that's how I hit 5k - 7 out of 8 = $500 + 10x multiplier ='s $5,000.00

Simply Red
01-24-2015, 01:01 PM
It will put me in the next tax bracket if I claim it as income - I'm giving it to mom to bear and then offering her like $950 for booking it as partial income next tax season. That's why i need to hit 100k ROFL.

Simply Red
01-24-2015, 01:10 PM
One last keno thing then i'll dip - but if you do play Keno via the Missouri Lotto - I don't think they spin live games - I think the best you can do is look up the game results. It's fun to watch them draw though, such as below.

I tinkered w/ MO Lotto's site and couldn't find the live games - I'm not sure it's offered. See Georgia's below and click watch latest draw, to see how they do it.

Some tracks refer to the exacta box as a quinella. It's my favorite way to wager on races.

I go to Monmouth Park once a year with a large group of 80-100 people and we reserve a picnic box along the rails.
http://www.monmouthpark.com/

I win just about every year with the exacta box.
I never bet a race with less than 7 horses-no good odds or payout is shit
I always take one or two favorites with 2-3 longer shots to add to my box bet.
I usually bet $20-$60 per race.
I normally bet 7 out of 12 races due to all the scratches or only 5-6 horses running
One good win is usually $250-400 easily if the longer shot beats the favorite
