That last play call and the resulting play by the Seahawks needs a name to go along with it to signify the immense level of fail that went into it and the huge impact that it had on the game. It could also be something from the Patriots perspective which would be more positive. Any ideas?

That play really is a great symbol of the modern NFL, though. The rules are so slanted toward passing that teams don't even think about running in critical situations.

Why run when you can throw the game away.

No, too long?

How not to win the Super Bowl.

I'm sure the NFL was on the phone with Seattle telling them if they let Lynch run it in there's a good chance that coupled with the long pass he caught which got them out of a bind...would win him the MVP.

From what I've read up here, Seattle's tired of Lynch.

Could you imagine him winning the MVP?

The good call that went awry.

Wilson throws it away no issue. Pats don't intercept it no issue. Seahawks score great gutsy call. It was not the worst call ever or even close., it was a smart call because everyone was thinking run. Shouldn't have thrown the ball into that tight of coverage on 2nd and victory. It was time to play Alex Smith. If its not wide open throw it away. 2 more downs to get a yard.

Some one pointed out the interception to fumble ratio was 1.4 to 1.5%. Hardly a bad call. I would have thrown to the corners of the endzone though.
