I don't like black licorice but did like bridge mix, which is kind of weird. It's probably more of nostalgia thing as that's what my grandma would always put out when we would play games as a family.

I discovered this C bar by accident long ago. The place I worked as kid had the old pull and drop type candy machine like a Cig machine. My wife was making peanut brittle one Christmas and accidentally messed up a batch. Instead of the rock hard normal stuff, this was more crystalline so that it basically would melt in your mouth. It's hard to explain but it was fantastic (I usually don't like it). Now, every Christmas I have her make it that way and won't touch it any other way.

I've mentioned this in the past, but when I was in college I got a horrible bacterial illness. I couldn't eat, threw up constantly, and ended up spending several days in the hospital after staggering around for a couple of weeks. I lost an entire year of college because it happened the day before school started and I lost so much time that I had to drop some classes and screwed up my prerequisites.

The last thing I ate before I got sick was a Mars Bar. It wasn't the fault of the Mars Bar at all, but I think it took me 20 years before I would eat one again. I associated Mars Bars psychologically with the illness and couldn't eat one.

Dollar Tree or Dollar store. They have a lot of the old classic candies.

I was never much of a fan of Jr Mints though it did make a good Seinfeld episode.
