View Full Version : Chiefs Poll: Oakland offers Houston top money...

The Chiefs get two first rounders (including 2015 4th overall).

The Chiefs select Marcus Mariota with the 4th pick, and announce that the intent is to let him sit behind Alex Smith. Everyone knows Smith is on essentially a two year deal now.

Chiefs draft an OL with the 18th pick.

Chiefs clear more cap space, use the Justin Houston money to sign Maclin or Cobb - whichever you prefer in your head.

Chiefs draft DGB in the second round.

Chiefs have two first round picks in 2016, including a likely top ten pick.

How would you feel? Flame away!

If the Chiefs turn the 1st round picks into a franchise QB, yes.

Mariota? Fuck no!

OP doesn't match poll.

I would vote for the closest option to paying to keep him...

I like the combination of our posts.

Keep Houston, and draft a QB.

It's a Swiss fucking watch.

That's not an option. This is happening without your consent. I want to gauge the CP reaction.

How would I feel if that exact scenario played out?? Like I just bought my dream car, new off the lot and getting T-boned right after I drove it off the lot...but I got hit by a rich celebrity that wants to pay me $2,000,000 to keep the accident out of the media.

Terrible poll options. A shame cause the OP was interesting.

Provide alternates.

I like simple and clear, with no face raping.

1. Yes, this would be great!
2. No, do not want.
3. Gaz

We would use the pick to re-draft Eric Fisher.

Wielding a QB takes true commitment.

This team has so much talent the draft picks wouldn't even make the team.

Option 2 all day long.

Swear on all thats holy, if Dorsey lets this guy get away I'll be the Grand Marshall of the hate parade.

We could draft an outside linebacker in the top three rounds for the next 5-10 years and still not find such a dynamic pass rusher that also happens to be great against both the run and in coverage.

What were we giving up when Houston was hurt in 2013, . . . 40, 45, 50 points a game?

I picked option 4 on the poll. Because , ain't no flapjackin' way this club drafts a QB 1st round. Woundn't be surprised if they let Houston walk, though. Dumbass moneyball BS.

Horrible deal for Oakland. Give up 2 draft picks and pay him a huge contract. Lol do you guys even know who the Raiders GM is and how he operates? It's like you guys still think Al Davis is running that team.

Houston is a great player but not that great!

Well, in fairness, the Raiders still operate like Al Davis is running the team.

With the question as-is, I voted to let Houston go...

If we actually did get a guy we thought would be qbotf.... Yes

Any other reason is a fail....IMO. So, getting a pick and being prepared to trade up to number 1 if needed is the only reason....otherwise fuck no

No one actually thinks this is going to happen. Raiders are breaking the bank for Suh, not Houston.
