Looks like Thomas Gafford is taking a physical and will be signing with da Bears. Seems like he really fell out of favor with Reid and company about midway through last season. Wonder what happened.

Meh.

Yeah, not sure it deserved its own thread, but thought I'd just put it out there as an fyi. Probably not even worth an fyi. On the other hand, given the substantive nature of many CP threads, this could be Hall of Fame material. :p

He bends over and shoves balls between his legs a few times a game

Your thread is good. You should be proud.

Adios long snapper.

I don't think he's big enough to play an offensive line position in a pinch. If we have a center go down, he can't really step in and replace that person. The new snappers they've brought in are all big guys. Gafford was a running back in high school. He's a pretty good cover guy on punt teams, makes a few tackles. But I think Dorsey wants someone younger, more versatile, and cheaper at that spot. Colquitt will be bummed, they've been friends for a long time.

Hus, Jorgen LS 6-1 232 25 1 Regina (Canada)

Hartson, Brandon LS 6-2 238 25 1 Houston

Winchester, James LS 6-3 210 0 Oklahoma

The 3 snappers on roster look a lil small to me.

Yeah....I don't think you're paying attention to the size of these players.

I thought those guys were all closer to 250. Are they all bigger than Gafford?
They'll all be cheaper, that's for sure....

At least we know now how we'll lose our playoff game this year.

Gafford played at 6'2 250 last year.

I believe in Toub so if he says we can move on and find a guy as good or better I am AOK with it.
