Yes I know a weird question coming....used to hit VF outlet once a year and buy a bunch of blue jeans to wear to work or whatever. Now that VF is gone from legends where does one purchase cheap jeans in the KC area? Always looking to save a buck or two and not looking to impress so really don't care long as they look decent and fit good. Love those $12 jeans from VF.....suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Plato's Closet or GoodWill. Be surprised what quality stuff you can get for pennies on the dollar.;)

There is still a VF outlet in Branson. Can you order online and have them shipped to you?

Nothing more enjoyable that wearing denim and having sweaty balls.Well, most folks have a nice cotton barrier between the two. If you're going commando in jeans then that's your own issue.

WTF do you wear fish netting?

I work outside 95* high humidity in summer its construction and wear jeans. I don't have this problem. Put some powder on it and don't chafe the vagina.

Just above.

Just above. To each his own; but I'd sooner wear the tightest, most nut-suffocating of Wrangler jeans than ever put on a pair of those.

If you're going to shit-talk jeans of all things, I'd just expect your alternative to be something better than zipper pants for fat goth kids.

Fuck that shit. I would never work at a job that required me to wear jeans in the summertime.

You do know the reason you sweat in the heat is to help cool your body. I have tried those expensive outdoor hiking pants. There made for a casual stroll down the trail. You cut line through brush and timber you run into nature. You dont move the road because there is bramble, green brier, multiflora rose, honey locust, poison ivy, barb wire fencing to climb. you go thru it and over it. You protect your body and wear what can handle the conditions and denim does the trick at minimum cost.

It only works if that sweat is able to evaporate. Being held against your skin in wet jeans not efficient. Same reason it feels so much hotter in humid air even though you are sweating your ass off. The moisture is 'stuck' against your skin.

You must have purchase cheap quality hiking pants if what you say is true. Quality one will resist all that as well as be comfortable in most temperature conditions.

Well I have been a field land surveyor 36 years but ok I don't have a clue what works in the brush and woods. Depends what you call expensive. I have tried LLBean when they were an outdoor company not a look rugged outdoorsy for the weekend warriors company they became. I have had new crew member come day one dressed like they were gander mountain models. By the end the week they were wearing blue jeans and long sleeved shirts in summer. Broken out in poison ivy rash and looking like they were in a fight with a bob cat because the green brier penetrated right through the fancy pants.

Problem solved. No need to get heated at all.

Only modern Tech fiber I have found better than cotton or wool for winter is Gore tex. Best thing that ever happened to leather boots.

Wranger, Real. Comfortable. Jeans.

It has the U-Shape by the crotch, you know, so your balls don't get squished.
