My dad. My dad my dad my dad my dad. My love my dad. My dad. My hero. My dad. My dad my love my loving father. My strength my might. My friend. My hugs. My laughter. My love. My dad. Oh my heart. My heart. He loved us so. He loved us so. So so much. I am forever my father's daughter and he will never been gone.
And so did her brother, Lightfield Lewis.

My Father, Geoffrey Lewis passed away today. Do yourself a favor and Netflix/iTunes one of his films tonight. Some recommends: Thunderbolt and Lightfoot, Bronco Billy, High Plains Drifter, Every Which Way But Loose, When Every Day is The Fourth of July (my personal fave), Salem's Lot or The Devil's Rejects - to name a few.

Lewis, a Scientologist, appeared in many Westerns, and had a long relationship with Clint Eastwood, appearing in films of his over several decades, including High Plains Drifter, Pink Cadillac, Bronco Billy and Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil.

He did stints on TV shows including Hawaii Five-0, Murder, She Wrote, Matlock and The A-Team.

Born in San Diego, Lewis grew up in Rhode Island, before moving to California at age 10. He is survived by second wife Paula Hochhalter and his 10 kids, including Juliette, Lightfield and actress Deirdre Lewis.

Jean-Claude Van Damme was among those remembering Lewis on Facebook.

I always enjoyed his movies. He was Eastwood's sidekick for years.

Juliette was legit hot enough to overlook Scientology back in the day.

That scene where she left her panties on the car in Natural Born Killers, . . . ooofahh!!!

And I can't stand that movie.

I like these kind of actors. Not superstars, but working actors who you've seen in a few films, and who are probably easy to get along with.

RIP.

Are you implying they are in a cop car with .45's policing heaven right now?

Thunderbolt and Lightfoot was a great movie, but I don't remember this guy being in it.

Filmed all over central Montana and people around here still talk about it.

Side note: Jeff Bridges passed me in his Ferrari yesterday, then I passed him...and he passed me again. I was driving a F-750 pulling a backhoe.ROFL "The Dude" likes to take his time on the interstate.

Yeah. It's been a rough week for the supporting cast of my childhood movies.

What was he driving, a new hypercar, or a classic?

I'm perhaps most jealous of Leno's p400s, fricken' movie star buys it for his son who dogs it out in HS and the movie star just GIVES it to Jay because he knew he was a gearhead and he figured it would be too expensive to fix at a dealership

I'm not even a Lambo fan, but the depredations I would endure for this work of art.

This is the origin of Lamborghini as we know it today. More than that, it's where the modern supercar begins. It's the first, the daddy, the Muira. . .

He was driving a nice silver Ferrari and going about 5 mph under the speed limit.

Thunderbolt and Lightfoot was a great movie, but I don't remember this guy being in it.

He plays George Kennedy's sidekick at first... ends up driving the ice cream truck around when they all get jobs.
