Server Upgrade and Fundraising.

The draft made it painfully clear that we are overdue for a hardware upgrade. The current server is now 4.5 years old and just doesn't cut it on high demand days. It was suggested in this thread (http://www.chiefsplanet.com/BB/showthread.php?t=292269) that we raise some money and upgrade the server ASAP.. hopefully before training camp.

I have done a ton of research and found a solution that will only increase our monthly costs by $40-$50 but our upgrade costs will be an additional $500 due to running two servers concurrently for a month and setup fees.

So, if anyone is interested, feel free to click the green DONATE (http://www.chiefsplanet.com/BB/misc.php?do=donate) button. I will try to make sure everybody that does gets marked as a SUPPORTER but if I miss you, just post here and remind me.

The main benefit is complete control. Tapatalk can change things at any time and screw us over. (like their recent updates which have all sucked balls) Also it's just cool to have our very own CP app! :D
