Wacha has some pretty numbers for us to fuck up. Every pitcher can have a bad day but, some consider him the best pitcher in the NL. He is the real deal. Natuaral talent. plays with passion. Continues to learn. He is the pitcher you want on your staff to stop a losing streak. In only his 2nd year(last year was a lost year) he is looking like a #1 starter. And the great part of him falling to us in the draft, it was the extra pick for Pujols who left for $20 million because he had his feelings hurt.

You rough up Wacha? Well done.:thumb:

Well, lets see how he does against an A league offense.

Just a JAG it appears.

Wacha is 0-1 with a 2.77 ERA in two starts against the Royals and 0-3 with a 3.60 ERA in six in interleague play. The Cardinals lost his first five starts against the AL before a 2-1 win at Cleveland on May 14.

Yeah, I just looked at radar again, and there really isn't anything serious until you get to Joplin points south and west. Unless something develops between it or it speeds up, things should be fine. (the batch of rain heading in now should be out by or slightly after game-time.

He better get his K rate back up, or this run isn't going to last.

He's FAR out pitching his peripherals right now. Maintaining a sub-2.50 ERA with fewer than six Ks/9 is not really possible in this day and age.

Wacha' fastball/changeup combo is really nice, but he still needs to develop a better and more consistent breaking pitch to reach his highest potential.

It was hardly a blow out. We had some rotten luck today and they had some good fortune, like the excuse-me, check swing for an RBI....

We hit some balls hard today but they never found grass..I thought Gordon hit the salami when the ball came off the bat but to no avail.....

shit happens...we beat them 2 out of 3...I'll take 2 wins and a "blowout" loss all day long

The Cards fans get mocked because of their self appointed "Greatest Fans In Baseball" shit. As if its so damn hard supporting a team that had a prime McGwire and Pujols on it and was a consistent winner. 20 years of David Glass's cheap ass would have brought that fan base or any to its knees.

BigRedChief
05-24-2015, 08:15 PM
Every pitcher can have a bad day but, some consider him the best pitcher in the NL. He is the real deal. Natuaral talent. plays with passion. Continues to learn. He is the pitcher you want on your staff to stop a losing streak. In only his 2nd year(last year was a lost year) he is looking like a #1 starter. And the great part of him falling to us in the draft, it was the extra pick for Pujols who left for $20 million because he had his feelings hurt.

You rough up Wacha? Well done.:thumb:Now 7-0 1.78 ERA. Cy Yong candidate.

The Royals are the real deal. Best record in baseball now. You guys can flat hit that ball hard. That was an impressive performance.

Good series. Two blowouts surrounded by a rain game. We just might have saw a preview of the World Series. Would be a great series.

This annoyed me too. By all means give that championship all the respect and honor its due, the fans like it as well. During the Cards series go right ahead and mention it a few times in commercials and in-game entertainment.

That patch on the sleeve today was a bridge too far.

and thats fine, but when I saw "1985 World Series champions" on the sleeve of the Royals during the game, I just had to roll my eyes and go "oh, come on, really?"

The Cardinals could go all NASCAR on us and cover their uniforms with 11 World Series champion patches.
