Royals @ Wrigley Field

So who's going? Looks like we're in for some lovely weather this weekend. :rolleyes:

We're heading up tomorrow, plan on watching Friday's game at a bar in Wrigleyville, if it doesn't get rained out.

Going to Saturday's game. We have great seats a few rows back in lower level just past the dugout, first base side. Forecast looks good as far as the rain moving out, but it will be in the low 50's and maybe into the upper 40's with wind out of the north gusting to 30 MPH.

It's almost fucking June. What is this shit? I have to pack winter gear to go to a fucking baseball game? Did I mention it's almost June?

I'll be there Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. I have suite tickets to Friday's game courtesy of our mortgage company. I know Saturday is a Chicago Whales jersey giveaway. It's rained here a little everyday, but for the most part hasn't been bad. Saturday looks a little iffy temp-wise though.

Toons is a KC friendly bar in Wrigleyville (I believe the owner is a KU alum) where you'll be able to find Boulevard and I believe he's having a BBQ all weekend for the series. I'm heading down there tomorrow around noon.

Good info. I saw you post this before, but couldn't find the thread.

Also, 610 KCSP will be at Murphy's Bleachers throughout the weekend, so there should be plenty of Royals fans there too.

I love me some Salt and Pepper Diner. I'm kind of glad we did our Wrigley trips before the remodel. I wonder how much they actually changed the old park. Hopefully not too much anyway.

Should be a great series. WGN and my grandma turned me into a Cubs fan growing up, but I could never root for them against my hometown Royals. Hope the wind favors the pitchers this weekend. Especially Sunday with Guthrie on the mound. Keep the balls inside the park and the Royals will sweep.
