Hopefully he doesn't get any texts from Ray Farmer while he's on the sideline.

His real Make A Wish foundation should have been to switch teams.

Or maybe his next wish is to be traded.

Ugh, made the mistake of actually reading the story. Heartbreaking stuff. Some terrible disease and they mention his little brother also has it. Can't imagine.

He never officially signed the contract. I heard he is in Denver this morning. Horse face scheduled a press conference for later today.

These things have become like the Ice Bucket challenge - more about the person or group doing it than the cause.

This is a good point. The commercialization of kindness is a bit of a paradox in the modern world.

I've always thought that about the military stuff that the NFL does. I figured that they were just attaching themselves to the military to look good. Then we discovered that the military was paying them to do it, which is simultaneously worse and better. I think it makes the military look somewhat less good and makes the NFL look better, albeit more hypocritical. But I already knew they were hypocritical.

Is he being questioned for the murder of an ex-girlfriend in Louisiana? That might explain it.

This is why I really value the acts of kindness where the player tries to avoid bringing cameras with him. For example, when Eric Berry, well before he knew about his own condition, visited a fan of his that was battling cancer and hung out with him for quite a while.

There's quite a few people and organizations that only do good things when they know there's a camera filming it, but thankfully there's also a lot of good people in this world that do good things because they really want to.

Not gonna read it and I always turn the channel during St. Judes Hospital commercials... there is absolutely nothing more depressing than little kids with terminal illness.

Just want to cry, then puke, then cry again.

But it has to be said that Make A Wish is by far the coolest charity out there, everything they do is incredible.
