He traded Bauer for a laughable return, an all-glove SS who can't hit and who also was traded for peanuts after a disappointing one-year stint in Arizona.

He traded Ian Kennedy for nothing.

He gave up WAY too much for a shitty, one-dimensional player (Trumbo).

I mean, Towers and his hardcore, old-school grind bullshit stripped that franchise of a lot of talent, with nothing in return.

It's not much skin off my ass, being a Royals fan and all, but I would like the home team here to do well. Plus it's a real treat to see Paul Goldschmidtt everyday and it sucks they won't build a winner around him.

I noticed ebay sellers are taking "pre-orders" on the bobble heads that have not been released yet.

Something that pisses me off about the bobble-head giveaways--they give out so few. This year, the first 15,000 people get one. Which is better than last year, when they only did 10,000. They know they are going to get 30K+ attendance when they do these.

I was at the Alex Gordon one last year. I was in the stadium gate 15 minutes after it opened and they were out--but you could still get one for "free" if you spent $40 in the Royals store. Not sure if that is routine or not, but it kinda ticked me off. So they still had tons more of them after they "ran out" but you had to spend $40. The line to get into the store was huge...
