As scared as I am that we're starting Blanton, I have started looking it through a different angle as well. If DM didn't go out and sign guys like CY and Blanton.. this team would be a wreck. After the Aaron Brooks game in Toronto last season, I feel more confident with a guy who has been in the majors for as long as Blanton to give us a spot start.
