Okay, another rare work thread, but I'm getting killed here.

I need to interview business owners or managers at companies that build decks, fences, or other outdoor structures (e.g. gazebos). I'll pay them $150 for a half-hour interview, and I'll pay you $50 if you'll send them to me. This is real cash, not casino cash.

And I already interviewed phobia, so you don't get money for referring him.

There are a few geographic criteria. I'd prefer interviewing people in the following metro areas, but can consider others.

Atlanta
Austin
Boston
Chicago
Columbus, OH
Dallas
Des Moines
Detroit
Houston
Indianapolis
Los Angeles
Nashville
Miami
New York
Peoria, IL
Philadelphia
Pittsburgh
Portland
Rochester
Sacramento
San Francisco
San Jose
Seattle
Washington, DC

If you can help me get 23 interviews over the next week, I'll post a picture of my refrigerator magnet collection. And it's a really impressive collection.

You should interview Pink. I think she knows someone that might be a deck builder.

Should I PM my address to you for the finder's fee?

I can't help, so I offer this:

Omahanians don't have nice things like "decks" or "gazebos". They blow all their money on those Herbie Husker doll things.

Not creepy at all, btw.

What about upper deckers?

Omaha is not on the leading edge of decksmanship.

But if you know someone, let me know. I may be able to bring them into the fold.

I have a buddy in Boston that may work out for you. I sent him an email to see if he's qualified to speak to the interview.

In suburbia, a man is measured by the size of his deck.

I may be able to help here. It's been years since I've spoken with these guys but friends of friends and hard cold cash may get you the results you seek. I'll let you know in the next day or so.

Edit: Seattle area btw

He's going to want to know what's entailed. If it involves his bidding strategy and that type of thing he won't be interested I'm sure. Is he required to give any trade secrets here?

You're confusing us with Lincolnians. Here in Omaha we love Creighton.

I've built a deck before.

Am I eligible for the survey fee and referral fee?

Do you build at least ten a year? If so, you're in.

I've built 1 deck in 20 years.

That should be sufficient. My deck expertise is only slightly questionable.

You come to a KANSAS CITY football board offering money for help but the extensive list doesn't include the Kansas City area?

Must be a Denver fan:)

I have a really good contact in the construction business in Kansas City, so I already met that quota. You may know him.
