I tend to go to NOAA or Weather Underground.

I'd like to find a hi-def live radar that can show my location using gps or something...

Meteorology guy here:

I don't typically do weather apps since I have training and resources; but you might try the weather app by a guy named Aaron Tuttle out of Oklahoma (don't have a link, sorry--Facebook or google).

Weather.cod.edu has some great hi-res desktop stuff, but nothing you can pinpoint like what you want.

Gibson Ridge Radar on my laptops, I need to add more placefiles to mine to show more roads and identifiers, but what I have does the job well for me.

Wundergrounds' wundermap is reliable. You can zoom in your location and see what is happening.

Easy to use.

I have RadarScope on my phone. It costs money, but it's great. It not only has the radars, but you can see wind velocity mode, rain totals and all kinds of stuff meteorologists use. You can see where you are via GPS, and it has a feature where you can determine how many miles the storm is from you.

That would be it.

Like I said, I don't tend to use weather apps, but I know some people who use his and really like it. Also the guy works private sector (used to do broadcast meteorology) and now forecasts on his own, especially severe weather, and he tends to be a lot more on the money than most of the TV peeps.
