View Full Version : Life -- Do you clean the chalaza jizz-shot out of your eggs?

You know the membrane smegma? Well, do you? Do you only do it if you're NOT scrambling them? Do you do it ONLY WHEN you scramble them? Do you just eat that gnarly sperm drop after it's cooked and not worry about it? What is you egg prep protocol w/ regards to that egg loogie 'chalaza?

In animals[edit]
In the eggs of most birds and reptiles, the chalazae are two spiral bands of tissue that suspend the yolk in the center of the white (the albumen). The function of the chalazae is to hold the yolk in place. For culinary use of eggs, particularly in baking, the chalazae are sometimes removed in order to ensure a uniform texture.

I do tend to clean it out - though it's not critical if I'm pressed on time.

Lol, I worked with a guy that every time we went to breakfast would order his eggs jizz-free, he then had to explain to every waiter/waitress what he meant. It was quite entertaining. I doubt a single one of them removed it, probably added more, who knows.

Its smoother when removed from scrambled. I've noticed. Although - again, it's not a deal-breaker, I've eaten the chick jizz in the past. Even since I've posted on CP, I think.

& here is as good as anywhere to post this - I almost ALWAYS buy medium eggs.

No. Too much work. I only separate the egg white from the yolk when a recipe calls for it or for just egg whites or yolks.

Is the ketchup organic? It needs to be organic. Simple Truth or equivalent.

Don't even bother. At this point, you've been unknowingly swallowing jizz all of your life and enjoying it. Don't stop now, bud.

No - in fact I think it has High Fructose Corn Syrup as the #1 ingredient (which I love - by the way!) - I will entertain the Simple Truth next go around.

see i think that sound is precisely what is coming back right now. That's why I've heated up to the classics - you know me - if it wasn't still 8th grade - I'd never watch headbangers ball again - but now - today - w/ the changing and enough time passed - that I actually crave that genre - lol.

I actually only eat the jizz. It takes a lot of eggs to make a simple jizz-only omelet, but the taste is worth it!
