Eagles signed ILB Mychal Kendricks to a four-year, $29 million contract extension through 2019.
It includes $16 million guaranteed. From being the center of trade chatter during the spring to signing a long-term deal, Kendricks will be in Philadelphia the next five seasons. He's one of the few survivors of the Andy Reid era. Kendricks is a Chip Kelly player, as he's fast enough to play sideline-to-sideline in the run game and cover opposing tight ends and running backs. Once DeMeco Ryans' time is up, it'll be Kendricks and Kiko Alonso on the inside for the Eagles.
