Tried a new BBQ place

Well new to me and it's in Weston,MO called The Tin Kitchen.

IMO most places have one maybe two items they do very well,this place was great in four dishes,ribs,fries,beans and slaw.

Last Friday I had to pick up my car from Van Subaru for a windshield replacement, and went to this new place in Riverside. Hawg Jaw BBQ. It was a joint. Not bad. The sauces were good, all had a little hint of clove and cinnamon in the sauce. Beans were really good, fries just so so. I ordered a sampler plate that had a little bit of everything on it. Price was about $20. Went home and noshed on it watching Chiefs/Titans and Royals/Rays.

The Burnt Ends were a bit fatty. Of all the meats their ham, pulled pork and sausage were the best. Ribs, brisket, burnt ends were meh...

I did like their regular version sauce. It was tasty. Hot version was a bit much.

I live a stone's throw from it. I've been getting Q from The Stack, which is also really close, but I'm not super thrilled with them at the moment. Last order was kinda dry.

Smoking Guns BBQ in North KC is pretty legit. Burnt ends and beans are money. Haven't tried any other meat from there because the burnt ends were good enough the first time I went I couldn't order something else the next time.

Smoking Guns burnt ends are very good. They also make this funky potato casserole thing as a side that's pretty damn tasty too.
