My portion, after insurance, of my X-rays and mri during my ER Visit (ultimately getting my gall bladder out) was $797. Haven't even seen the bill for the hospital stay or surgery yet.


And my blood thinning medication, because I switched insurance to my wife's plan and haven't met the deductable, was $500 for a one month supply of 30 pills. Managed to get some. Coupon thing from the hematologist so I was able to get a month supply.

Do you qualify for assistance? I make too much for Medicaid, but it turns out I make just under what it takes to get Medicaid for my pregnancy. Thank goodness, because I elected against pregnancy coverage when I got my insurance a couple of years ago not thinking it was going to happen. We have five people in our house this year. One of which is 21, who's also my brother.. so he's our go-to for booze. By the end of the school year everyone else in the house will be 21 I think, except for me who will be the old age of 19.
