Shaun Smith played nine NFL seasons, including stints with the Chiefs in 2010 and 2012, and has been out of football since that last stop in Kansas City. On Sunday, Smith took to Twitter to share his thoughts on Chiefs offensive tackle Eric Fisher, the 2013 first-overall pick who could sit out Week 1 against the Texans because of an ankle injury.
"Chiefs fans I love yall & I will always be a chief but when u have chumps like Eric fisher pulling this crap cause he scared of jj we loseBy any measure, Fisher has been a huge disappointment."
That said, it's one thing for people to question your playing abilities and something else entirely for them to question your heart. Either way, if Fisher doesn't play on Sunday, the Chiefs will rely on Jah Reid, who was released last week by the Ravens, to protect quarterback Alex Smith from Watt.
